Have you planned your vacation yet? Or maybe you’re interested in basketball camps with HoopLife Basketball? It’s going to be exciting, inspiring, and professional. Aleks Mrozik and his team will ensure that.
Here’s this year’s schedule with HoopLife Basketball:
1. HoopLife Budapest Camp. July 5-12, Budapest, Hungary.
Register HERE
So far, two editions of the camp have taken place in Budapest. Last year, 44 players from over 20 different countries participated. They honed their skills, learned, and trained under the supervision of NBA specialist coach Donnie Arey, who has worked with Michael Jordan himself.
This year, the camp is moving to a new location in the city center.
The sessions will take place in a new sports hall, and accommodation will be provided in a high-class hotel with top-tier nutrition standards.
The camp is designed for players (both boys and girls) who want to train hard and develop their skills and basketball knowledge under the guidance of NBA Cares and JR. NBA coaches from the USA.
This camp is created to give players the opportunity to experience American-style training at a high level.
As close collaborators of Pro Futuro Sports (www.pfsinfo.org), we have over 20 years of experience helping clubs, players, and coaches create new opportunities.
A prime example of this is our long-standing relationships with clubs such as Partizan Belgrade and Crvena Zvezda, who regularly ask for our help relocating their players to the USA or other countries.
We don’t just help the most talented players.
We understand how important education and work ethic are for young people.
Our goal is to combine a high level of education with top-tier basketball and give young athletes the chance to develop in many aspects of life.
If needed, we can help any player-student find their dream school or club, regardless of their skill level.
The Budapest Camp combines group training and many mini-games that help players develop faster.
During the sessions, we focus on making better decisions on the court – teaching how, when, and where to make them.
After the camp, you will have a better understanding of basketball, and the mentoring will help you grow as a player.
This camp is for players who are not amateurs and already have certain basketball skills.
Players will be divided into three groups: advanced, intermediate, and basic (usually the youngest participants).
Don’t hesitate – come and train with us. It’s a great opportunity to learn something new.

2. HoopLife Skills Camp. July 12-19, Zakopane, Poland.
Register HERE
The Skills Camp is aimed at players who want to better understand basketball and improve their individual skills. The best opportunity to do this is by learning from Coach Donnie Arey, a long-time NBA Camp coach who has worked in various parts of the world. (More about Coach Arey’s achievements HERE).
During the camp, players will work on many individual and technical aspects of basketball. Just like in the 2023 edition, we will also focus on improving the understanding of basketball and how to move on the court.
This camp is for:
* Beginner players not playing in basketball clubs.
* Intermediate players who started working in a youth club 2-3 years ago, but are not starting players or regular rotation players.
Players born between 2003-2011, as well as those born in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015, can register for the camp.
For players born between 2012-2015, a separate training group will be created, and they will participate in sports activities with a lower frequency.
The Skills Camp has been designed to increase participants’ basketball knowledge and improve their technical skills.
Coming to the HoopLife Skills Camp will allow participants to discover which aspects of the game they need to work on.
During training, players will be divided into groups and assigned specialist coaches who, under the supervision of head coach Donnie Arey, will implement the training plan together.
Coach Arey’s assistants at the Skills Camp will be active players who play basketball professionally or coaches specializing in individual work with players.
During the camp, participants will learn what, when, where, and most importantly how to do things the basketball way. They will also learn new technical innovations, receive guidance on eliminating bad habits, and refine their individual skills.
In the evenings, participants will have the opportunity to compete in sparring games known as the Night League.

3. HoopLife Elite Camp. July 22-31, Kórnik near Poznań, Poland.
Register HERE
This is the next edition of the camp. Our goal is for you, as a player, to learn how to make better decisions on the basketball court.
Thanks to the Night League, you will be able to play many games and gain valuable experience.
Beyond the court, we want you to have fun, meet basketball players from all over Poland and even the world.
You will quickly realize that basketball is our passion, and a summer with HoopLife is a time of hard work on the basketball court combined with a unique atmosphere.
The HoopLife Elite Camp offers many opportunities. It is aimed at standout players in their clubs who are in the main rotation (starting five or the 6-10 player in the team’s rotation). If you are not in the rotation or are just starting your basketball journey, the HoopLife Skills Camp is the ideal camp for you.
You don’t need to want to go to the USA to attend the Elite HoopLife Camp.
The camp is for players who are eager to develop, and it’s up to you whether you bring that knowledge back to your current club or perhaps take it to a new club or abroad.

A few words from me: If you’re not familiar with Aleks Mrozik yet, I encourage you to learn more about him. He learned basketball in the USA and Spain. He played against players like Russell Westbrook and Dwight Howard. His story is very interesting because, at a relatively young age, he realized that since he wouldn’t make it to the NBA and couldn’t earn the money that would ensure him a good life after his career, he would rather switch to a different path. He wanted to avoid a scenario where he would bounce around different leagues and, at 36, end up with empty bank accounts and aching knees. And that was a good decision.
Over the years, Aleks has built a network of contacts closely tied to the NBA and American universities and high schools. I might be wrong, but I believe there’s no one else in Poland who could take a young basketball player, boy or girl, under their wing and help guide their career as professionally as Aleks can.
Remember one thing – the NBA is the dream and ultimate goal of almost all young players, but let’s be realistic: only a select few, the best, the most outstanding, the healthiest, and the most athletic, get there.
But there’s absolutely nothing wrong with trying. Why not? A trip to the USA is a win-win situation. If you find that you lack the talent, physique, or both for NBA standards, you may still be good enough to play in Europe, and that’s something too. Even if, during the time spent there, a young person comes to terms with the idea that a professional basketball career isn’t for them, they can still finish their studies. With a degree, English proficiency, and experience gained in the USA, the world is open. Perhaps someone will discover a passion for filmmaking rather than basketball, and that’s also fantastic news.
Basketball can open many doors and start an amazing journey through life, but a happy and fulfilling life doesn’t necessarily have to end with an NBA logo. But it might! I’ve known Aleks personally for many years. He’s an ambitious person with bold ideas, and a true professional in every sense.
